We have tried to include all the standard questions we receive, if you have any other please don't hesitate to ask.
How old are the bitches when they are bred?
We tend to breed on the 3rd season closest to 2 dependant on training, maturity of bitch and what other plans we have. Large breed we aim for 2.5/3 years old.
When are your litters planned for?
We have a Litter plans/announcements page which is kept up to date. This may be subject to change.
What is the price range?
We cannot predict prices, We will usually be mid-top end of the market due to the quality of our dogs, the registration, health testing and the care ant time that we put in.
Do you use puppy programmes/temperament test?
We raise puppies using puppy culture, this includes plenty of exposure, desensitisation, socialising and lots more, we do a basic temperament test at approx 7 weeks.
What is the Inbreeding Coefficient (COI)?
We will always breed below the breed average. Due to the usual show x working mix we are uasually at 0%
Are there any health concerns in the lines?
Aside from the health tests we have done we have used databases and spoke to other breeders to study other issues, this is dependant on owners filling in the databases and honesty but we will always keep up to date. We also put in the contract to let us know should any of out puppys develop anything we be informed.
Will the puppies be wormed?
Yes we use PANACUR and DRONTOL at 2, 5 and 8 weeks.
Will the puppies be vaccinated?
First vaccination will be done, Lepto 2 as a standard but we can have Lepto 4 given with prior arrangement.
